Welcome, sixth graders!

In order to get everyone up to speed, we have devised this digital scavenger hunt to help everyone master some of the skills that will be necessary in middle school and beyond. Some of these tasks you will most likely know how to do. In those cases we ask you to help your neighbors. They, in turn, will help you out when you need help. Working with others, otherwise known as collaboration, is going to be a vital skill you will need to develop. Now is a great time to start!

What will you be doing for this scavenger hunt? Make sure you do these steps in the order listed below:

Task 1: Learn how to access the databases that AIS subscribes to, and use one of them.

Task 2: Create a Noodletools account (unless you already had one at AIS last year), create a project in Noodletools, share the project in a drop box, and cite a picture.

Task 3: Use a Google Doc.

Task 4: Use Airdrop.

Task 5: Take a picture of your advisory.

Getting Started

It is important to know what the expectations are at AIS about behaving responsibly when using any electronic device. Please review the Responsible Use Agreement.
